Popis:	Etiological theories given in literature, patomechanism and otosclerosis-reminding traits of the blue scleras syndrome are discussed in this paper. The operative methods of repairing conductive hypoacusia in familial blue scleras syndrome based on own research are described. The audiological results of hearing loss surgical treatment in this case are presented.
