Popis:	The incidence of deafness is high in children born prematurely as compared with the general population of children. Early start of the rehabilitation being an important prognosis factor the detection of deafness must be made as early as possible. Therefore a careful attention must be paid to any early signs of possible hearing imparment; parents concerns in particular must always be considered seriously. Diagnosis of deafness rests on behavioural tests and electrophysiological technics.
