Popis: Genome editing is a genetic technology by which any DNA sequence is inserted, replaced or deleted. Genome editing has been making rapid progress recently, with the development of new techniques such as ZFN, TALEN and CRISPR/Cas9. Genome editing can be applied to various fields ranging from the production of knock out animals to gene therapy. This section summarizes these new genome editing technologies and its applications.
