Popis: This article, the byproduct of a larger research project, presents a case study of a Jehovah's Witness with hypertension and cardiac problems. Semi-structured interviews were used to reconstruct the individual's illness experience: diagnosis, treatments, and cure, focusing on pervasive religious social representations, lending meaning to his own life and to the physical and moral suffering and disturbances involved in this process.
