[Diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities in adult malignant gliomas]

Popis:	Despite of the recent advances in diagnostic and therapeutic techniques the outcome of patients with malignant gliomas remains poor. The most widely used classifications and management of supratentorial gliomas are reviewed focusing on the chemotherapeutic possibilities. More accurate diagnosis and new therapeutic approaches will be available with the results of immunological studies. With the help of genetical experiments the development and malignant transformation of the gliomas will come to light. The gene therapy seems to be promising even in case of malignant glioma.
