A case of 67 year old man suffering from gastric cardia adenocarcinoma with disseminated bone metastases is reported. This case report describes multiple bone metastases from a gastric carcinoma diagnosed by bone scintigraphy without radiologic and computed tomography changes and confirmed by the patient's fulminating evolution. In this report the bone scintigraphy results in patients with osseous metastases secondary to gastric cancer and the role of diagnostic imaging methods in the assessment of metastatic bone lesions are reviewed. |
