The authors presented a case of a man, 44, with a rare malignant neoplasm of the upper eyelid, diagnosed after its second recurrence as carcinoma sebaceum. At first the lesion was considered to be a chalasion and histopathological diagnosis after the first recurrence was carcinoma spinocellulare. The authors tried to explain the differences between the 2 histopathological examinations and concluded that the clinical course of the case confirmed the necessity of this examination in every atypical recurrent chalasion. |
