Immobilized terrilytin and a splenocyte factor excretion induced by this enzyme were studied with respect to their action on development of antigen-specific immune suppression. It was shown that the factor excreted by splenocytes of rats treated with injections of the immobilized enzyme was an active stimulator of humoral immune response. The action of the substance excreted by the splenocytes was evident under conditions of both usual antigen stimulation and suppressor cell activation induced by hyperimmunization. The factor of the supernatant fluid of the splenocytes from the animals treated with immobilized terrilytin was a more active immunostimulator than the drug inducing its production. |
