The return to home and integration in family are the main goals for disabled people. But there are many difficulties to resolve. School insertion is necessary for children, and nearly always possible. Return to work is often difficult, it has done some progress. Conveyance and accessibility in towns are necessary for a social integration, but it causes many problems. Driving is not allowed for disabled with mental or sensory impairments; it is easier for motor handicapped people, with appropriate equipment. Assessment quality of life is now evaluated, the validation of scales is not yet done. |
