| Popis: | Aging is associated with decline in immune response, which contributes to increased incidence of infectious and neoplastic diseases. This article summarizes animal and human studies demonstrating the immuno-stimulatory effects of vitamin E for the immune response in aging. The mechanisms of the effect of vitamin E are discussed. |
