Popis:	Examination of five hundred pet dogs revealed Echinococcus granulosus in nine dogs, Dipylidium caninum in twenty dogs, and Toxocara canis in thirty dogs. The risky role played by pet dogs in the transmission and spreading of zoonotic cystic hydatidosis was discussed.
