Popis: Auricular chondritis frequently occurs in relapsing polychondritis. In addition to the primary form of the disease up to 30% of cases of chondritis can be secondary, e.g. due to autoimmune diseases. We describe the case of a 62-year-old male patient with auricular chondritis as the first symptom of granulomatosis with polyangiitis. Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) associated vasculitis should always be considered in the differential diagnostics of relapsing polychondritis and antibody testing should be performed accordingly.
