| Popis: | In this short article we review the immunopathology of HIV infection and delineate the kinds of immune responses seen in acute infection and in long-term nonprogression that are understood to be necessary if the host is to maintain long-term control of the virus. In this context we discuss the potential promise of therapeutic vaccination in HIV infection. |
