Cattle mycobacteriosis caused by achromous M. xenopi strains was identified in two stock farms. The most typical strain of M. xenopi is the copyrolysis detected by tests and the composition of high molecular-weight mycolates containing 22, 24, and 26 hydrocarbon atoms and having typical double peaks of saturated and unsaturated acids. |
