Popis: Slowly progressive facial paralysis is suggestive of a diagnosis other than Bell's palsy. A case of slowly progressive facial paralysis caused by a cavernous angioma of the brain stem is presented. The classification of vascular malformations of the central nervous system is described with emphasis on the MRI appearance of these lesions.
