A method is described in the paper that is designed to assess the values of the dynamic range of digital X-Ray diagnostic systems operating in the counting mode. The dynamic range is shown to be determined from the bottom by static limitations of the image quality, while from the top it is determined by system's counting errors caused by the terminal temporal resolution. |
