The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of the combination of aspirin, simvastatin in diabetic rat on platelet function.Eight-week-old male Wistar rats were selected and randomly divided into diabetic group (Compared with control rats, diabetic rats had high platelet aggregation and activation (These results suggest that simvastatin may improvethe effect of aspirin on anti-platelet function in diabetic rats. |
