Popis: Current vibration disease prevalence and its health and national economy-revealed consequences necessitates further elaboration of pathogenesis-based techniques for the disease' treatment. Antioxidants, vitamin E in particular, were used to stabilize the cellular membrane's oxidation-reduction processes. The alpha-tocopherol membrane localization taken into account, the researchers hold that it is capable of protecting the biologic membranes from the damaging influence of fat acids by means of formation of the alpha-tocopherol and fat acids complexes. The treatment resulted into health-state improvement, normalization of the local processes in the upper extremities, which can be explained by the stabilization of the cellular membrane's oxidation-reduction, primarily due to vitamin E, thus proving its positive therapeutic effect.
