Popis:	A revision technique of the failed cemented femoral stem was developed using a standard cementless porous-coated prosthesis. The advantages of this technique are that the prosthesis has apposition to autogenic bone rather than allograft; problems of long stem can be avoided; supplementary allograft provides enough strength to allow early weight bearing; it facilitates the extraction of the distal cement; and further revision is relatively easy in the healed, viable bone bed.
