Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) is a heterogeneous group of clonal disorders derived from haematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, also is a common malignant hematological diseases. It is characterized by ineffective bone marrow (BM) haematopoiesis, peripheral blood cytopaenias and a risk of progression to acute myeloid leukaemia. Iron overload is caused from transfusion dependence and ineffective hematopoiesis, which seriously affects the survival and prognosis of MDS patients. The role of immune inflammation in the development of MDS has been widely concerned. Oxidative stress and metabolic disorder caused from iron overload enhance the immune inflammatory response and accelerate the disease progression. Iron overload and immune inflammation are risk factors for the progression of MDS.铁过载与免疫炎症可作为MDS疾病进展的危险因素.骨髓增生异常综合征(MDS)是一组起源于骨髓造血干细胞的异质性克隆性疾病,是常见的恶性血液系统疾病,表现为无效造血,正常造血受到抑制,血细胞一系或多系减少,最终导致骨髓衰竭及向白血病转化。临床研究发现,频繁输血及无效造血引起的铁过载,严重影响MDS患者的生存及预后。免疫炎症促进MDS进展的作用已受到广泛关注。铁过载引起的氧化应激及代谢紊乱进一步增强MDS患者免疫炎症反应,加快疾病进展。铁过载与免疫炎症可作为MDS疾病进展的危险因素. |
