The paper explains the causes of incorrect sphygmogram recording and describes the physical principle of a pulse wave recording device, its designing and technical features. Evidence is given for the advantages of pneumatic pressing over mechanic one, thereby enhancing the reproducibility and accuracy of pulse wave recording. Trials have indicated that the use of the proposed device needs much less time for making pulse diagnosis. |
