Popis:	Nonparasitic splenic cysts require a totally different type of surgical management than that of parasitic cysts. Three cases of nonparasitic splenic cysts and their surgical management by the open and laparoscopic approaches are presented. The surgical technique and review of the recent literature are discussed to demonstrate the current trends in the operative management of nonparasitic splenic cysts.
