The authors in 186 patients with thyrotoxicosis of different pronouncement degree studied the protein-forming function of the liver and the effect of ultra-violet irradiation (UVI) of the blood on it. Hypoalbuminemia, decrease in the albumin-globulin ratio and increase in the gamma-globulins content were revealed. UVI of the blood contributed to improvement of the protein-forming function of the liver and had an immunocorrective effect. |
