Popis:	Although pericarditis is the most common cardiac complication of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), cardiac tamponade is distinctly unusual. We report one patient whose initial predominant manifestation of SLE was cardiac tamponade and review the cases of 12 patients with similar presentations.
