Popis:	Associations were sought between the presence of allergic sensitivity to Der p 1, a major allergen from the house dust mite, and the HLA-DPB1 genotype. Whilst allergic patients did not differ from controls in DPB1 allelic distribution, there was a correlation of DPB1*11011 with strongly reactive T-cell proliferative responses to Der p 1 and high titre specific IgE to Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus.
