Popis:	Patient/practitioner communication plays a major role in the acceptance of treatment. Since the Kouchner law in France, patients must be allowed to give their free and informed consent and to be made aware of all the available therapies given their situation.Practitioners have nowadays access to a range of aids enabling them to present the treatments they envisage as thoroughly as possible, exposed by the author in this article.The key to our success remains the construction of a confidence-based relationship between practitioner and patient.
