Popis:	We present a case of a 52 year-old female treated with high dose chemotherapy for a malignant lymphoma. After a six month period on maintenance chemotherapy the patient developed a cytomegalovirus induced retinitis which was first suspected to be a lymphoma relapse. She went blind, despite treatment with ganciclovir.
