| Popis: | Formula are obtained for the diffraction on fibrous biopolymers with strands alternating between segments of right- and left-handed helix. Additional set of reflections having definite positions and relative intensities is shown to be characteristic of the X-ray pattern involved. As considered by the proposed method side-by-side model of DNA may be refused on the basis of diffraction pattern geometry only. |
