| Popis: | A computer-based management system for tracking Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) morbidity within a State is discussed. The on-line data system is designed to serve the State offices, and allows data entry and retrieval from two major clinics accounting for seventy percent of the reported morbidity. The system's purpose is to improve morbidity estimates and management data for the STD control program, and increase knowledge of the characteristics of the disease morbidity. The results of both a pilot study and the initial operation of a full scale system are described. |
