Popis: This paper describes a multiphase model of work with students of Andragogy at Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, which can be used as an example of good practice and aims to prepare students for the increasingly complex challenges of career management and provide comprehensive support for their career development. The paper deals with each stage of the model: Studying the theory of occupational choice and development, which is a part of the program of the course Andragogy of Work; Active Job Search, training for students (as a part of the same course); Visits to two relevant institutions (National Employment Service and institution that conducts some of the forms of vocational education, which is inextricably related to the management of "changing careers"). The last stage of the model is professional practice of students, organized in cooperation with “GIZ“ and “The Professional orientation on transition to secondary schooling Project“ which allow students to test their skills as a trainer and career counselor for high school students. Given the fact that in Serbia there are increased efforts aimed at improving the quality of career management activities, the paper considers how each phase corresponds to the activities of “changing careers“ management and how this model prepares students to self-manage their careers. Also, this paper offers proposals for career management activities that can be conducted in the courses that students attend, all with the goal of a comprehensive career development support for students. Furthermore, considering the fact that the process of career management is a lifelong process that begins long before the "entrance" of the world of work, this paper considers in what ways students can participate in career counseling for high school students, as well as how both sides benefit from it.
