In this study, filter circuits which arefrequently encountered in analog studies are studied, starting from the lineardrift TiO2 memristor emulatorcircuit. Filter circuit features can be improved by adding different circuitsto the output stage today. This method significantly affects the filtercircuits as a load impedance at output stage. It is aimed to increase thesuccess of the output responses by making an experimental study of both activeand passive analog filter circuits with the memristor emulator circuit. Theperformance of an analog filter can generally be understood by looking at the qualityfactor, the Bode diagram and the wall effect on the cut-off frequencies. Theseoutput parameters are sufficient conditions for examining the output responsesof all analog filter circuits. Then, low, medium and high frequency analyzes onactive and passive analog filters were examined and quality factor, Bodediagram and cut-off frequencies were compared. As a result, when the overallresponses of the system are considered one by one, it has been observed that atlow frequencies, analog filters with active and passive low-pass memristorfollow a more stable output response and a curve closer to the wall effect thanconventional filters. It has been demonstrated both experimentally andnumerically that analog filters with active and passive high-pass memristor athigh frequencies provide partial improvement over conventional filters.Experimental study of memristor-based filter circuits will inspire curiousresearchers for filter studies that can be designed according to the desiredpurpose in future studies. |
