In recent times, it has become more and more common for the alternative natural floral elements to be preferred in agricultural activities as well as traditional agricultural activities. In our study, Pirreşit Mountain, located in the North East of Van Province, which we have shown its floristic structure in 2007, has been investigated with its potential to be used in alternative agricultural activities. With the assessment of 820 plant taxa detected in the area; plants used mainly for food, construction works, ornamental and home decoration, oil production, cheese making, fuel etc were determined. These plants are transferred to the fields in Turkey to take on the breeding and culture of the world and focused on growing opportunities in the field. With this study, our research area which includes a large part of the Muradiye District has been tried to put forward the potential of alternative agricultural activities.
