In this paper, the topic of MAG-CMT process in additive welding of inconel 625 alloy is discussed. CMT is an abbreviation for "Cold Metal Transfer". CMT is a new process in welding technology. After several years of development, it moves from the development part to the actual application. CMT welding process provides high welding speeds, provides excellent results for a wide range of materials, mutual welding of different materials CrNi, Al, galvanized sheets. The introductory part describes the application of additive technology (3D metal printing), and the most common welding technologies used for this application and materials. The paper describes the MAG-CMT welding process and the applied additional material for the needs of the experimental part. In the experimental part, additive welding of Ni-alloy was performed and the results were analyzed. Based on the analyzed results, a conclusion is given.
