OPTIMIZATION OF THE TWO-STAGE CASCADE REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

Popis: U sklopu ovog rada promatran je dvo-stupanjski kaskadni rashladni sustav koji svoju funkciju obavlja u područjima zadanih radnih tlakova, 0,1 i 1 MPa. U gornjoj i donjoj kaskadi rashladni proces je idealan, a kao radni fluid koristi se R32. Izvršen je toplinski proračun svih stanja procesa te proračun faktora pretvorbi, pritom razmatrajući različite tlakove odvođenja topline iz donje kaskade u gornju. Pomoću softverskog paketa Engineering Equation Solver (EES), promatrani sustav je optimiziran s obzirom na postizanje maksimalne moguće vrijednosti faktora hlađenja u svrhu analize radnih stanja sustava. Radi usporedbe, proračun je ponovljen za isti sustav, ali s radnom tvari R410A. U radu je prikazana analiza rashladnih sustava, osnove radnih tvari u rashladnim sustavima te je pokazan proračun i optimizacija dvo-stupanjskog kaskadnog rashladnog sustava.
In this thesis was observed a two-stage cascade refrigeration system which works between given pressures of 0,1 and 1 MPa. In the upper and the lower cascade the cooling proces is considered ideal with the flow of the refrigerant R32. The calculations of characteristic heat transfers and physical properties of each state were given as well as the calculation of conversion factors, cosidering different pressures at which the heat is transfered from the lower cascade to the upper cascade. Using Engineering Equation Solver (EES) the observed system was optimised considering the highest possible value of the coefficient of performance (COP). The calcuations were repeated for the same system only with the refrigerant R410A. This thesis gives a brief analysis of refrigeration systems, basic refrigerants and a thorough calculation of thermodinamic values of a two-stage cascade refrigeration system.
