Popis: Squirrel-cage induction motors are widely used in industrial applications due to their high efficiency, low cost, durable, simple construction and high maintenance. Due to reasons such as nonlinear structures of the induction motor drives, disturbing effects and change in parameters, speed control gets difficult with traditional methods. Modern or adaptive control methods should be used to reduce the effects of nonlinear components, to make control algorithms independent from parameter changes and to achieve better performance. In this study, adaptive neural fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), which is an adaptive control method, has been proposed to provide better performance and accuracy. For the three-phase squirrel cage induction motor robust control with ANFIS and proportional integral derivative (PID) type control, the speed parameters of the motor are controlled by changing the stator and rotor resistances. In addition, the performance of both controls in the induction motor drive system, the robustness of the controls and the performance of the efficiency are aimed. The response of the induction motor under variable reference speed and load is investigated and the simulation results are made in MATLAB / Simulink environment. The results obtained from ANFIS and conventional PID control were compared.
