Popis: A random number generator (RNG) and cryptographic algorithm is the base of each encryption system. For this, it can be considered that, no matter how complex cryptographic algorithms are applied, they become as vulnerable as the random number generator which is at the root of this system. The theme of RNG and PRNG deserves particular attention, especially because cryptographic protection in information systems relies on it. It can also be said that this is also the basis for cyber security as a whole. For this, it is extremely important to be sure of the quality of a system or mechanism for generating random numbers. In our study, as a means of assessing reliability, we rely on the mathematics of time series. The results of the proposed method are discussed and possibilities for ensuring cryptographic protection in information systems are shown.
