Popis:	The present paper examines several phraseological units with component θξέλεο, which express concepts of mental or emotional state. The importance of the phraseology in the study of the deep penetration of the culture into the language (in the form of mythologems, symbols, stereotypes, prototype situations, etc.) is discussed. The analysis of language material proves that the phraseological meaning is a culturally predetermined.
