Endometriosis of the abdominal wall is an uncommon entity, frequently occurring in scars and typically in young women with a history of cesarean section. This report describes three cases of abdominal wall endometrioma following caesarean section. The primary symptom of the patients was the painful swelling of the scar tissue at menstrual periods. Complete surgical excision was performed for treatment. Endometriosis was recurred in one of the patients after surgical excision. All patients are still under gynecologic follow-up. |
