Popis: The conventional dyeing or printing is always characterized by impregnating textiles with chemical products and subsequent thermal fixation. This process requires a lot of time and energy. Generally, Ultraviolet radiation is known by its harmful effects on organic compounds, such as breaking of chemical bonds which influences the mechanical and optical properties of polymer materials. However in this article we will focus on its beneficent application in textile dyeing and printing: The use of Ultraviolet-curable dyeing liquors and finishing chemicals could has place in order to save both energy and time, and to create “new textile products”. The aim of this study is to outline and review the latest developments and advance in Ultraviolet Technology on the textile dyeing and printing. © 2016 Elsevier Ltd
