Bu araştırmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinin mutluluk korkusu düzeyleri ile kişilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmada ayrıca üniversite öğrencilerinin mutluluk korkusu düzeyleri, cinsiyet, anne ve baba eğitim düzeyi ve aile gelir düzeyi değişkenlerine göre incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında öğrenim görmekte olan 191 kadın, 52 erkek olmak üzere toplam 243 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Mutluluk Korkusu Ölçeği, Hacettepe Kişilik Envanteri ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modeline dayalı betimsel bir çalışmadır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel ve ileri istatistik teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Uygulanan her bir testten alınan puanlar arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi için Pearson Momentler Çarpım Korelasyon Katsayısı uygulanmıştır. Değişken türüne göre ikili gruplarda bağımsız gruplar t-testi uygulanırken anne eğitim düzeyi ve baba eğitim düzeyi, gelir düzeyi gibi ikiden fazla gruplandırılan değişkenlerde tek yönlü varyans analizi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler sonucunda üniversite öğrencilerinde mutluluk korkusu ile kendini gerçekleştirme, duygusal kararlılık, nevrotik eğilim, psikotik belirti, sosyal ilişki, antisosyal eğilimler arasında negatif yönlü, orta düzeyde, anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Mutluluk korkusu ile aile ilişkileri ve sosyal normlar arasında ise negatif yönlü, düşük düzeyde, anlamlı ilişki olduğu sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca üniversite öğrencilerinin mutluluk korkusu düzeylerinin, bireylerin cinsiyet, anne eğitim düzeyi, baba vi eğitim düzeyi ve aile gelir düzeyi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. The aim of this study is is to examine the relationship between levels of fear of happiness and personality traits of university students. In addition, the level of fear of happiness of university students is to reveal according to the variables of the gender, educational and income status of their parents. The participants of the study consists of 243 university students, 191 female and 52 male, studying at various universities in Ankara during the 2018-2019 academic year. Fear of Happiness Scale, Hacettepe Personality Scale and personal information form were used as data collection tools. The research is a descriptive study based on relational screening model. Descriptive and advanced statistical techniques were used in the analysis process. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient analysis was used to determine the relationship between the scores obtained from each test. While independent groups t-test was used in binary groups (gender) by variable type, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was applied to variables that were grouped more than two such as educational and income status of parents. As a result of the data obtained, it was revealed that there was a negative, moderate and significant relationship between university students' fear of happiness and self-actualization, emotional determination, neurotic tendency, psychotic symptom, social relationship, and antisocial tendencies. There is a negative, low level, significant relationship between fear of happiness and family relations and social norms. In addition, it was revealed that the level of fear of happiness of university students did not differ significantly according to the variables of gender, education status of parents and family income level. |
