Currently, application of technology-based learning in education is a rapidly growing phenomenon. Students live in a media rich environment and interact with a wide range of electronic devices both inside and outside their schools. In technology enhanced language learning, there are various tools to improve the collaboration and communication. Animoto, one of Web 2.0 tools designed with a constructivist approach, encourages students to navigate, create, and construct their knowledge. It offers an interactive environment that allows students to create digital stories. Although storytelling is not a new idea, the use of digital storytelling with Animoto for educational purposes is new to students and can help students participate in a creation process.Keywords: Digital Storytelling, Animoto, Visual Literacy |
