Popis: Ovaj rad donosi rezultate analize skeletnog materijala s nalazišta Bapska – Gradac. Najzastupljeniji ostaci u materijalu pripadaju skupini velikih preživača (domaće govedo, pragovedo, jelen – Bos taurus, L., Bos primigenius Boj., Cervus elaphus, L.), a slijede ih mali preživači (ovca, koza, srna – Ovis aries, L., Capra hircus, L. Caprelous caprelous, L.) te domaća svinja (Sus scrofa domesticus, L.). Od domaćih životinja zabilježena je prisutnost pasa (Canis familiaris, L.) u naselju, dok su u manjoj mjeri zastupljeni ostatci divljih životinja poput zeca (Lepus, europaeus, L.), dabra (Castor, fiber, L.) i divlje svinje (Sus scrofa, L.). This paper presents the results of the analysis of skeletal material from the Bapska – Gradac archaeological site. The site has been known since the end of the 19th century, primarily because it is the only archaeological site in Croatia with layers of the Vinča culture present (Vinča C and Vinča D). Modern research of the site began in 2007, and it continued until 2019. All osteological material analysed in this paper is attributed to the Sopot culture. Depending on the degree of preservation of the material, zooarchaeological analyses have determined the presence of individual animal species, genera or taxonomic families. The majority of the remains in the material belong to the group of large ruminants (domestic cattle, wild cattle, deer - Bos taurus, L., Bos primigenius Boj., Cervus elaphus, L.), followed by small ruminants (sheep, goat, roe deer - Ovis aries, L., Capra hircus, L., Caprelous caprelous, L.), and the domestic pig (Sus scrofa domesticus, L.). The presence of dogs (Canis familiaris, L.) was recorded in the settlement, as were, to a lesser extent, the remains of wild animals, such as the rabbit (Lepus europaeus, L.), beaver (Castor, fiber, L.) and wild boar (Sus scrofa, L.).
