Popis: | Oktay, Zuhal (Balikesir Author) In this paper, a new parameter is proposed to comparison of the flue gas enthalpy values of the some common fossil fuels and biomass. The new parameter is called as flue gas petrol equivalence coefficient (FGPEC). Flue gas enthalpy value varies depending on the gas temperature, excess air ratio and chemical composition of the fuels. In this study, flue gas enthalpy value of the petrol is taken as a reference case for FGPEC. Also, calculation of the flue gas enthalpy of petrol is given in one formula for different excess air ratios and temperatures. Flue gas enthalpy value for any fuel can be obtained by multiplying FGPEC value with the function proposed for petrol. Flue gas petrol equivalence coefficient of common fossil fuels and some biomass are given in detailed tables. It is expected that this model would be beneficial to the researchers, designer and engineers working in the area of combustion systems. |
