Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi keterlibatan ayah dan kecerdasan emosi terhadap penyesuaian di perguruan tinggi. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tahun pertama perantau di UNJ. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 67 responden berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Keterlibatan Ayah, Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, dan The Student's Adaptation to College Questionnaire. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan analisis regresi ganda karena memiliki dua variabel bebas. Berdasarkan perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh sebesar 9,2% untuk persepsi keterlibatan ayah dan kecerdasan emosi terhadap penyesuaian di perguruan tinggi. Untuk melihat pengaruh secara terpisah keterlibatan ayah terhadap enyesuaian di perguruan tinggi memiliki pengaruh sebesar 6,8%, sedangkan kecerdasan emosi terhadap penyesuaian di perguruan tinggi memiliki pengaruh sebesar 5,9%. The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of father's involvement perception and emotional intelligence on the adjustment in college. The population of this study was the first-year migrant students in Jakarta State University. The samples were 67 respondents which was based on the predetermined criteria. This study used measuring instrument Father’s Involvement, Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, and The Student's Adaptation to College Questionnaire. The data tabulation technique used multiple regression analysis because it had two independent variables. Based on the calculation, it showed that there was an effect of 9.2% for the perception of fathers' involvement and emotional intelligence towards the adjustment in college. To see the effect separately, fathers' involvement towards the adjustment in college had the effect of 6.8%, while emotional intelligence towards the adjustment in college had the effect of 5.9%. |
