| Popis: | The aim of this present paper is to analyze William Butler Yeats’ Poem ‘The second coming’ from the stylistic analysis perspective. The stylistic analysis envisaged here views the poem as a linguistic construct in terms of phonological, lexical, syntactic and semantic aspects. The study shows that a stylistic analysis is helpful and important to an analysis of verbal configuration of a text. In addition to that, it aims at evolving a composite outlook to the nature of literary work. |
