Popis: U ovom radu smo proučili najbitnije tehnologije u razvoju digitalnih instrumenata. Opisali smo VST sučelje i istaknuli značaj koji je imalo na razvoju digitalnih audio tehnologija. Raspravljali smo o važnosti, ali i o nedostacima MIDI protokola. Opisali smo komunikaciju navedenih komponenata preko programskog domaćina. Istaknuli smo najpopularnija razvojna okruženja i prednosti koje nam nude u razvoju VST biblioteka. Opisali smo snovne dijelove VST instrumenta. Proučili smo programsku implementaciju oscilatora, ADSR komponente i filtera. Sve tehnologije koje smo prošli u ovom radu smo proučavali na praktičkom primjeru VST instrumenta. U sklopu ovog rada sam implementirao digitalni instrument u VST3 sučelju koji obuhvaća navedene tehnologije. In this paper, we have studied the most important technologies in the development of digital instruments. We described the VST interface and highlighted the importance it had on the development of digital audio technologies. We discussed the importance, but also the shortcomings of the MIDI protocol. We have described the communication of these components through a program host. We have highlighted the most popular development environments and the benefits they offer us in developing VST libraries. We have described the basic parts of the VST instrument. We studied the software implementation of oscillators, ADSR components and filters. All the technologies we went through in this paper were studied on a practical example of a VST instrument. As part of this work, I implemented a digital instrument in the VST3 interface that encompasses the listed technologies.
