Popis: Problem istraživanja ovog rada je osjetljivost hotelijerske industrije na razne vrste kriza kao posljedica njihovog danas rastućeg broja i nepredvidljivosti prirode. Problem je važno istražiti budući da krize u većini slučajeva dolaze neočekivano te kao takve hotelu mogu prouzročiti velike štete, stoga je potrebno istražiti načine pripreme i suzbijanja krize. Shodno tome, rad za cilj ima analizirati navedenu osjetljivost te istražiti važnost i utjecaj kriznog menadžmenta kao odgovora na krizu. Kriza predstavlja nepredviđen negativni događaj koji ostavlja negativne posljedice i uzrokuje gubitke u sferi života pojedinaca i u sferi poslovanja poduzeća, a njena neočekivanost, nespremnost i vremenski pritisak za kriznog menadžera stvaraju veoma stresnu situaciju u kojoj mora promptno reagirati. Krizni menadžment predstavlja skup aktivnosti usmjerene prema prevenciji krize, planiranju odgovora na istu te njenom suzbijanju pa prema tome razlikujemo aktivni i pasivni krizni menadžment. Njegova zadaća je zaštita ljudskih života te materijalne imovine. Gostu je potrebno pružiti osjećaj sigurnosti u državi, regiji ili gradu, ali i u turističkom objektu. Svaki hotel mora posjedovati propisani sustav tehničke zaštite, ali hotelijeri sve više prepoznaju važnost ulaganja u implementiranje nove tehnologije zbog sigurnosti gosta kao faktora turističke potražnje. The problem of this thesis is the sensitivity of the hotel industry to various types of crisis as a result of their growing number and unpredictability of nature. The problem is important to investigate since the crisis is most likely to come unexpectedly and as such can cause major damage for a hotel so it is necessary to explore ways of preparing and suppressing the crisis. Consequently, the purpose of the thesis is to analyze the aforementioned sensitivity and to investigate the importance and impact of crisis management as a response to the crisis. The crisis represents an unforeseen negative event that has negative consequences and causes losses in the sphere of life of individuals and in the business sphere of the enterprise and its unexpectedness, unpreparedness and time pressure for crisis manager create a very stressful situation in which he must react promptly. Crisis management is a set of activities aimed at crisis prevention, planning of response to the same and its counteracting so we differentiate between active and passive crisis management. His task is to protect human lives and material property.The guest needs to be provided a sense of security in the state, region or city as well as in a tourist facility. Each hotel must have a prescribed technical protection system, but hoteliers are more and more recognizing the importance of investing in the implementation of new technology for the safety of tourists as a factor of tourist demand.
