Popis: | U ovom radu je ispitana mogućnost primjene prirodnog zeolita, Fe(III)-modificiranog zeolita, kaolina, bentonita, apatita i koncentriranog apatita kao potencijalnih materijala za permeabilnu reaktivnu barijeru za uklanjanje iona cinka iz onečišćenih podzemnih voda. Šaržnim postupkom je provedeno zasićivanje sorbenata s ionima cinka te desorpcija iona cinka iz zasićenih sorbenata u ultračistoj vode pH vrijednosti 2,94 i 6,46. Rezultati ukazuju na sljedeći red selektivnosti sorbenata prema ionima cinka: bentonit > FeZ > PZ > apatit > konc. apatit > kaolin. Izračunati koeficijenti raspodijele i koeficijenti zadržavanja na ispitivanim sorbentima potvrdili su rezultate sorpcijskih eksperimenata. Utvrđeno je da svi ispitivani sorbenti nisu potencijalni materijali za PRB pri pH vrijednosti medija ispod pH=3, jer dolazi do desorpcije iona cinka. Pri pH o =6,46 bentonit i FeZ predstavljaju potencijalne materijale za PRB budući da su pokazali najveću selektivnost prema ionima cinka i ne dolazi do njihove desorpcije. In this paper the possibility of application of natural zeolite, Fe(III)-modified zeolite, kaolin, bentonite, apatite and concentrated apatite as potentials materials for the permeable reactive barrier for zinc removal from contaminated groundwater has been investigated. Saturation of sorbents with zinc ions and desorption of zinc ions from saturated sorbates in ultrapure water at pH 2.94 and 6.46 has been performed. The results indicate the following sequence selectivity of sorbent toward zinc ions: bentonite > FeZ > PZ> apatite > conc. apatit > kaolin. Calculated distribution and retention coefficients on the investigated sorbents confirmed the results of sorption experiments. It has been found that all tested sorbents can not be used as materials for PRB below pH=3 due to desorption of zinc ions. At pH o =6.46 bentonite and FeZ represent potential PRB materials since they showed the highest selectivity towards zinc ions and their desorption did not occur. |
