Rezultati pokazuju da povećanje dodatka prirodnog zeolita uzrokuje ukupan pad vrijednosti specifične električne provodnosti i pojavu maksimuma u kasnijim vremenima hidratacije, no poslije to nije pravilo. In this paper, a study of the specific electrical conductivity of an aqueous suspension of the Portland cement was carried out with addition of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 wt.% of zeolite – natural zeolite from the Donje Jesenje (Krapina), sifted through 125 μm standard sifter. Conductometric measurements were carried out in a thermostat at 20 °C and at the water/cement ratio, W/C = 4. Determination of specific electrical conductivity was conducted by conductometric method up to 25 hours. The obtained curves after the experimental work indicate the dependence of the specific electrical conductance of time and the addition of the zeolite, where the peak of maximum conductivity is emphasized. The results show that the increase in the addition of natural zeolite causes a total drop in the value of specific electrical conductivity and the occurrence of the maximum in later hydration times, but after that it is not a rule. The addition of zeolite does not affect the mechanism of the hydration process but on the kinetic parameters and dynamics of the process of hydration of cement, since the curves retain a similar shape. |
