Hotelska industrija podložna je nizu trendova. U sklopu ovog Završnog rada, proučavani su demografski trendovi i njihov utjecaj na poslovanje hotela. Pronađeno je kako je ključni demografski trend starenje populacije, što može imati značajan utjecaj na modificiranje postojeće i/ili stvaranje nove hotelske ponude. Također je pronađeno da postoji nekoliko načina na koje demografski trendovi mogu utjecati na hotelsku ponudu i potražnju. Neizravno utječu na radna mjesta, ali imaju izravan utje caj na potražnju i tržište rada. U sklopu Završnog rada također je proveden i strukturirani intervju s managerom hotela Peristil, kako bi se utvrdio utjecaj demografskih trendova na poslovanje ovog hotela. Pronađeno je kako demografski trendovi utječu na modificiranje hotelske ponude za pojedine demografske skupine gostiju, na hotelski kadar te na organizacijsku strukturu hotela. The hotel industry is subject to a number of trends. As part of this Thesis, demographic trends and their impact on hotel business were studied. It was found that the key demographic trend is the aging of the population, which can have a significant impact on modifying the existing and/or creating a new hotel offer. It also found that there are several ways in which demographic trends can affect hotel supply and demand. They indirectly affect jobs, but they have a direct impact on demand and the labor market. As part of the Thesis, a structured interview was also conducted with the manager of the Peristil Hotel, in order to determine the impact of demographic trends on the business of this hotel. It was found that demographic trends influence the modification of the hotel offer for certain demographic groups of guests, the hotel staff and the organizational structure of the hotel. |
